My box braids are 3 weeks old in this picture , I decided to try this hairstyle for my birthday which I celebrated 3 days ago. Happy Birthday to Moi again :). I was afraid it will take me forever to achieve the style because I just did it before leaving for church, to my surprise it took me less than 15 minutes it was a quick and easy .

She is a beautiful natural lady who can sing and dance.
Her name is Chibwe , she is wearing a Twa which suits her wonderful .She was shy at first and was asking me how she should pose but as we said don't judge a book by its cover , she nailed it down.she has an attitude when posing. We had a lot of fun, Thank you so much Chibwe for accepting to be my first model and I know it is not the last one. Many more to come and show. Stay blessed!

EASY NATURAL MOISTURIZING HAIR CREAM RECIPE

It is quite difficult to find natural
products for skin or hair care on the market, especially, here in Ndola. I am
not really into making my own beauty products mostly because some ingredients
are no easy to find unless ordered them overseas. However, this hair cream I have
made is my first one and would gladly say that l am really pleased the way it has
turned out.
All the ingredients are easily found in
town and it will only take about fifteen minutes of your precious time to make
it.

GIVE YOUR TWA A STYLE !!!
A TWA can be sometimes boring due to lack of length to experiment different styles. You would never think a TWA could be accessorized but let me tell you and show you have no idea how wrong you are.
Accessories give you the ability to add some trends to your TWA and when choosing hair accessories , consider the color, the shape and texture .
Hope you will be inspired with this 4 styles, enjoy!

DAY1 VS DAY 15 TWISTS OUT
My maintenance was very minimal, was sleeping with my scarf as usual and every morning will spray them with water mixed with oils(Olive , Avocado and Jojoba).
Personally I prefer my twists out on Day 17. What about you ? Do you like them fresh or old?

BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO MAINTAIN NATURAL HAIR
Natural hair maintenance slightly differ from relaxed hair and if you
don’t understand this basic principle, you may be discouraged and go back to
relaxer to make your life easier. I have heard a lot of women saying this.
Every woman is unique and different like all human hair is beautiful and unique
. It is up to us women to bring out that beauty from them Ladies! Whether you have relaxed, protective
styles or natural hair, the basics are such that your hair should always be clean.
BE CALM AND KEEP THEM CLEAN!!!!

NATURAL SISTAS
Being Natural has never been a family affair at first, I started 12 years ago and slowly my sisters and my mum embraced natural hair . It was not easy for one of my sister ( I love you Emily ) because she did not want to hear anything about natural hair .

Going Natural
I realized that a lot of our Women of African descent in DR Congo
and Zambia ( Avoiding to generalize about Africa in particular but about
the two countries I live in and familiar with) struggle to maintain
their natural hair whether they
have gone through the below stages in their hair life cycle : -
·
Have grown up with natural hair ,
·
Transitioned for a long period of time from relaxer to natural, so called ‘ Transition period’,
·
Women whose hair has been damaged by relaxer and ‘got annoyed”
for lack of a better term and so have banished relaxing putting an embargo on
it (J).,
And lastly
·
Women who have Kids with natural hair.

My beautiful Twist Out 4C hair
![]() |
| DAY 1 TWISTOUT |
I decided to put my hair in mini twits see picture below , mini because my hair still short after a tapered hair cut and wearing them for a week, I decided to take down my twist for a twist out style. My twist out can last for the whole week weeks which I like for low manipulation. After taking out the twist I teased my roots with a comb for a fuller look. The curls definition look like old comb coils or baby dreadlocs which does not bother me and I think it is because of the twit's size and hair's length .

First Crochet Braids.
![]() |
| Crochet Braids |
Crochet braids hmm should I say crochet braid imitation or just my 1st needle braid J if it can be so called like this , you will understand why I used that word , I guess we call it crochet braid because we use a crochet to install the hair ( Oh yes you will answer me obviously that make sense) but in my case did not use a crochet because crochet‘s hair can’t be find in Ndola if you know a place where to purchase please just leave me a message will appreciate. Mom got me one from the USA but just been told I can find them in Lusaka as well youpiiii so no more stress.
So am sure you are asking yourself right
now, what did she use?

Postpartum weight loss
I would like to start this new
blog with something very interesting and exciting. Let everybody say yippee !!! Continue reading and you will thank me for doing
so!
I am going to talk about my
weight loss journey and I definitely
know it will help and inspire someone.
I never for a minute in my life
ever thought that I would be concerned about my weight because I have always been
skinny. I am 1,73cm and weighted only 57 kg! Of course I am talking about 12
years ago .In 2014 before my wedding I was 65 kg which was fine for me considering
my height. During my first pregnancy, I gained 20kg and managed to lose 15kg
post pregnancy. I struggled to lose the remaining 5kg so maintained 65 kg up to
my second pregnancy.

Welcome back to Moi!!
It has been a long time! Seven years
to be precise. Many things have happened in my life in the last few years. I
have had good times, bad ones as well but I have always experienced the protecting
hand, the love and the grace of God. I am grateful to
my God for everything I have gone through and it has made me stronger, wiser
and closer to Him.
I am now back home (Africa),
happy but I sometimes miss Poland, especially the winter. I am now happily married
and live in Zambia with my family.
So Enjoy and thanks in advance
for stopping by!!!!
Happy reading!!
