My first Makeup application on Someone beside myself.

Hello beauties ,

Today I would like to talk about my first makeup application on someone. I have always loved makeup and have been interested on different application technics. To be honest when I started applying make up on myself it was a total disaster compare to now, I can proudly say I have come so far and I believe anyone can learn how to apply makeup with some practice and will as we say " Practice makes perfect ".

I washed my hair without detangling(no comb ,no fingers) , in fact I pre-pooed  before shamppooing. I pre-pooed with Coconut Oil, covered with a plastic cap for an hour and shampooed with Cantu and finally I conditioned with TRESsemme .

I took my braids out , I think I will stay away from this style for a while . I got my hairline damaged unless I braid them myself.
I did some African threading to stretch my hair for a photo comparison, my hair is growing and the shape is loosing.
I did some mini twists and kept them for 2 weeks and wore my twists out for almost 2 weeks until March 05th.

JANVIER 2016 PS

 I want to challenge myself this year with the so called " length challenge ".  For the next 6 months I will only be in protective styles . What is a protective style for this challenge? Very Simple!

• Any style that will allow my hair to rest a minimum of 2 weeks ,no manipulation during that period.
• Will be washing my hair with braids in
• Moisturizing every day

So my Januray PS, is still the box braids I put in in December and cut them short.

For my daughter's 6th birthday which was January 30th ,  she wanted a princess look, but she is already a princess  I  can not stop  telling her :) .

This  updo is very easy and super quick to create no need to have special skills for that.

 You will need :

• Straightened hair,i did African threading method.

YES YOU CAN BAKE TOO!!! BLACK FOREST CAKE

For my 6th birthday daughter , I wanted to bake a well presented birthday cake with CREAM , I can bake but nice cakes decorating have always intimidated me . I am not a huge fan of icing cakes or too much heavy cream on a cake but let agree Icing is a way to go for making fancy cake designs.

Back home , there is a bakery called "LA BRIOCHE" , it has been there since am a child so I guess more than 25 and folks they have the best pastries.
In Zambia I was looking for a similar bakery and specially for cake but I have never found or been satisfied with what I have tasted so far .
So the solution is in my kitchen means I need to learn to make them myself and improve what I already know.

My Hair needed a ReVamp so I decided to pay a visit to my hair stylist and asked her to cut them short to achieve a sort of bob cut .  My head could feel so light sometimes women for the sake of beauty we endure a lot (Who run the world ???Girls!!! yeah we do )
I really love the cut even though Hubby  preferred me with long ones , sorry baby too late but still beautiful I look. :)

My Natural Journey,

I would like to share my brief story regarding my hair.  I have had natural for the last 13 years as I lived in Cracow, Poland where African hair saloons were non-existent   even now to a certain extent. For summer holidays, I used to go back home to Congo  and  usually will have my hair done in mini box braids to keep them longer  to avoid to look for somebody to style my hair once back to Cracow.

That holiday had my hair braided and kept my mini braids for almost 6 months. I relaxed the root while still having braids in as was the trend in DR Congo , crazy and impossible as it may seem but believe it or not,  I did it!
