My box braids are 3 weeks old in this picture , I decided to try this hairstyle for my birthday  which I celebrated 3 days ago. Happy Birthday to Moi again :). I was afraid  it will take me forever to achieve the style because I  just did it before leaving for church, to my surprise it took me less than 15 minutes it was a quick and easy .

Meet my first December Natural Diva

She is a beautiful natural lady who can sing and dance.
Her name is Chibwe , she is wearing a Twa which suits her wonderful .She was shy at first and was asking me how she should pose but as we said don't judge a book by its cover , she nailed it  down.she has an attitude when posing. EASY NATURAL MOISTURIZING HAIR CREAM RECIPE

 

 It is quite difficult to find natural products for skin or hair care on the market, especially, here in Ndola. I am not really into making my own beauty products mostly because some ingredients are no easy to find unless ordered them overseas. However, this hair cream I have made is my first one and would gladly say that l am really pleased the way it has turned out.

All the ingredients are easily found in town and it will only take about fifteen minutes of your precious time to make it.

3 DO'S & DON'TS FOR MAINTINING BRAIDS OR TWISTS

I decided to get box braid instead of twist (felt lazy to do my hair on my own) as a protective style for December, I wanted to cornrow my hair but the hair stylist convinced me to get box braid so that how I ended up with this new hair style but she was right to insist because I am in love with them, they change me a little from my usual twist style.

If you like this style and want to get them just buy some braids extension and have them install by your stylist or yourself if you can however there are some few  tips to remember to avoid breakage and will find your hair healthy when you decide to unravel them .

Here my  3 Do's and Don'ts for maintaining your braids or twists.

GIVE YOUR TWA A STYLE !!!

A TWA can be sometimes boring due to lack of length to experiment different styles. You would never think a TWA could be accessorized  but let me tell you and show you have no idea how wrong you are.
Accessories give you the ability to add some trends to  your TWA and when choosing hair accessories , consider the color, the shape and texture .

DAY1 VS DAY 15 TWISTS OUT

 

 

As promised in my  post twist out  ,here an update on my twist out after 15 days. Believe it or not I kept that twist out for 17 days .I washed my hair today and will put in twists again.
My maintenance was very minimal, was sleeping with my scarf as usual and every morning will spray them with water mixed with oils(Olive , Avocado and Jojoba).
Personally I prefer my twists out on Day 17. What about you ? Do you like them fresh or old?
